Let’s talk longevity. Sure, a wood patio/porch may come in cheaper than concrete but did you know that the oldest reinforced concrete bridge in America is STILL STANDING? 🤯
Completed in 1889, the Alvord Lake Bridge, located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, was the first reinforced concrete bridge built in the United States.
It even made it through the 1906 San Francisco earth quake!
