The Adventures of Kilo, Squiggle, and Dot
Kilo, Squiggle, and Dot were three dogs with very different personalities.
Kilo, a German Shepherd turning two next month, came from a friend's litter of puppies. She loved chasing tennis balls and would do almost anything for a chicken treat.
Squiggle, a mini Australian Shepherd turning six in September, came from a breeder in western Kansas. She loved splashing in water and dreamed of endless vanilla wafers and popcorn.
Dot, Squiggle's blue merle Aussie sister, preferred indoor adventures. She loved cuddles, puzzle toys, and discovering hidden treats. While she would eat almost anything, broccoli was her favorite snack.
One day, their humans set up a treasure hunt. Kilo searched the yard and quickly sniffed out a stash of chicken treats. Squiggle splashed through a kiddie pool, finding containers full of popcorn and vanilla wafers. Meanwhile, Dot stayed inside and worked through a puzzle toy, unlocking little compartments filled with broccoli.
When the hunt was over, the three dogs compared their treasures. Kilo had chicken, Squiggle had her favorite snacks, and Dot had solved her puzzle.
"It looks like everyone won," Dot said proudly.
That evening they played, splashed, and cuddled together, proving that the best adventures are the ones shared with family. 🐾
