🎉 Scenic Avenue is now open!

Scenic Avenue has reopened to traffic between Sunshine Street and Bennett Avenue following completion of the Scenic Avenue Bridge Replacement and Scenic Avenue Stormwater and Sidewalk Improvements projects.

The improvements include:
🌉 A new bridge over Wilson's Creek
🚶 New sidewalks and ADA-accessible curb ramps
🚴 A 10-foot shared-use path
💧 Upgraded stormwater infrastructure

Our stormwater installation team took a temporary pause in normal work operations to focus on the importance of workplace safety. Stand-downs like this are important in providing time to discuss common construction hazards, review protective methods, and to reinforce safety practices. Thank you guys for stepping up for personal safety on the job!

Another project in the books! This Farm Road 17 Greene County bridge over the Sac River consisted of demolition of the existing bridge, and construction of a new 4-span continuous composite curved plate girder bridge with roadway realignment. The aerial photo of this bridge and surrounding area is remarkable. Hats off to our crews for there hard work and craftmanship!
