My schedule is wild, to put it lightly. The additional classes I have started are proving to take much more of my time than anticipated. I am often asked by clients when I manage to have lunch… so here’s the truth! IF I make time at all for lunch, it’s on the car on the fly.

Being so busy is stressful, but the alternative isn’t an option. Whatever is keeping you busy, keep at it! 💕🧼

It took years to get in this condition… it’s going to take some time and work to get it out safely. To keep it from being an overwhelming amount of time, I’ll do a little more each visit until the whole floor looks good as new.

Friends. We did it. 6 months after I started this wee little business with zero clients, I have a completely packed schedule.

As many of my existing clients know, I intentionally keep a few gaps in my schedule, which remain there now. Why? Because I do have other obligations, primarily my family. Additionally, I am a volunteer fire fighter for my community and drive our ambulance some nights as well. I am in the midst of taking a pretty intense class for the fire department that goes through June. I also keep those gaps, not just for my sanity, but in the event there is a fire emergency that pulls me away from my regular schedule. It builds me in a space to make up that time.

If and when any time opens up in my schedule, I will of course share that 💕

My current clients know that I do my best to be flexible (as they are with me!) and I will continue to do so. I cannot express enough just how grateful I am.

Deep cleaning is where my heart is. When I can pop in a podcast (or listen my class work via audio) and just go. Before you schedule a deep clean, I have just a few helpful tips:

🔵 Clear up any clutter. The more we have to move, the longer it takes. To be clear- I am happy to do that for you as well, as long as it comes with the understanding of it taking more time.

🔵 Yes- it will take a long time. Why? Because it’s hard. Every surface in every home is different. There are many factors that play into how long it may take, and one of the biggest is how long it’s been since the last deep clean.

🔵 Can you help? Absolutely! I have plenty of supplies that I bring, and if you’d like to help to reduce the time, that’s wonderful! Not all cleaners feel that way, but remember that it is YOUR home.

🔵 Details details details. Sometimes it’s hard (as a cleaner) to step back and really see what I did. There are things we will clean that you may never notice, but if we missed it, you’d notice.

🔵 Why can’t I give a quote? Simply put- there are too many factors. My rate is hourly and includes all of the supplies needed. Some projects will just take longer. You CAN however provide a budget. If you just want me to do what I can in a certain number of hours, we can discuss what would be a priority and go from there.

Deep cleans are very therapeutic for both parties. If the job is REALLY big, it can be broken up into several visits. It is not reasonable to think that a 3500 sq ft lived in home will be deep cleaned in a day.

Whew! Full day clean on this gorgeous 1780s Maine home to prep for being listed for sale. I was stalked by a woodpecker and accidentally bleached the side of my black jeans, but still all in all a good day and squeaky clean home ready for the market!
