Promises to be great fun!

From a cactus field to a station platform! Our Chief Traingineer Roger Farkash was put in charge of bringing this Santa Fe caboose, ATSF 999187, to the Miller Model Train Museum at the Mabank TX Depot. That meant rescuing it from a pasture, hauling it in as an oversize load, having real track and ballast laid beside the depot, setting it in place by crane, and restoring it. Today it's the first thing visitors see at 222 West Mason Street in Mabank, and admission to the museum is free. Stop by and say hello to our caboose!

Enjoy a peek inside our McGowan Street studio this week!

The TW TrainWorx Traingineers are building a custom HO scale train layout for a residential customer here in Texas. These photos show design, the hand-built benchwork going from open frames to finished roadbed, with the track curves already cut in. We'll share more as the scenery and trains go in!

ā€œNobody puts Baby in a corner!ā€ Thatā€™s what our HO scale engineer said when pulling this beauty out of the display cabinetā€¦this E1 A/B set is way too pretty to sit on a shelf! (The quote is a reference to a popular 80ā€™s film, for those who donā€™t remember. šŸ˜…)
Come see it for yourself, and check out the beautiful layouts built by TW Trainworx while youā€™re here!

Weā€™re open Fridays and Saturdays 9am-2pm.
