I have had a lot of fun mowing lawns and painting houses over the years, but it is time I take a step back from those fields. Last month I graduated from SEMO and a couple days ago I passed the Missouri Real Estate Exam.

I have joined my dad on his “Rehabs4Sale” team, and am excited to announce in a couple short weeks we will be starting our own brokerage “Home Plate Realty Partners.” Thanks to my clients and my crew members who I have gotten to work with up to this point, and if you need to buy/sell a house you know who to call 😉

Welcome Cody Majesky to the team! Recent SEMO graduate with a degree in finance, Cody will be a welcome addition to Rehabs4Sale. His previous experience with starting/running his own businesses will also prove to be quite useful.

Cody’s primary focus to start will be property acquisitions. He will also be heavily involved in ramping up our social media presence and developing new lines of business under the Rehabs4Sale umbrella.

Today I repainted a kitchen ceiling with some water damage. After a coat of Kilz primer and a coat of ceiling paint the stain is completely gone!

Today I worked on touching up a staircase. A previous contractor bailed in the middle of the job and left it a mess. I am glad I could finish the project just in time for Christmas. Looks good!

This week, I knocked out a project that has been on my list for awhile. I replaced all the flat boards, including the top of the railings and the stairs. The only thing left is to replace the caps on the posts and they have already been ordered. I can’t wait to stain the new boards in the spring!

We’re back! My semester is quickly wrapping up at SEMO and I will be coming back to the St. Louis area for two months after Thanksgiving. Traditionally in the winter I hang Christmas lights and shovel snow. Weather permitting I will also still be refinishing decks, power-washing, cleaning gutters, and doing landscaping projects. I can also take interior paining jobs as well. Check out some of my recent post to see the projects I completed over summer, and message me for more information or to schedule a job.

Summer is quickly wrapping up. I have a couple trips planned. And then off to complete my senior year at SEMO. I had a record breaking season as I completed:

-18 gutter cleaning projects
-10 decks power-washed and stained
-8 landscaping projects
-6 houses power-washed
-3 interior painting projects
-3 drywall projects
-3 paver installation projects
-2 exterior painting projects
-1 40 foot pine tree removed

I am done taking on new work for now. Thank you all for the business, and I will be back after Thanksgiving for an extended winter break!

I spent my last three days painting this 1200 sqft basement. My team and I applied three coats to both the walls and the ceiling. We included a basecoat of primer on the walls and even sprayed a coat of texture on the ceiling. I can’t wait to see what it looks like with the floors put in!

Just finished up our last job of the week. It was another paver job and we widened the driveway by 2ft.
