This story brings me so much joy and it's the culture I have always prayed for. I think it's worth a SHARE!
Shawn hit a stone mailbox with his coming home from a really good word day where he led his first jobsite. If you don't know Shawn is over a year clean and he spent his past life running from the cops. He's a new man who God has redeemed.
The first thing Shawn did was talk to the homeowner and see what he needed to do to make it right. They ended up calling the cops to file a report. This moment I can feel the stress building in Shawn, he calls Robert and me to come up with a plan.
Our whole company was able to surround Shawn and build this guy a better mailbox than he originally had. Robert rushed out during company time and cleaned up and set up a temp mailbox for the guy, Isiac and Drew came on their Saturdays off and after Hours on long hot days to build the mailbox with Shawn. They were able to pay for everything with the Twisted brick card to ensure Shawn wasn't paying out of pocket.
The person was happy and this is a testament of how God transform someone. Shawn showed integrity and we were all blessed to be able to help him in his time of need! I'm so very proud of my guys and the love we have for one another!
