Six months of planning came together in one unforgettable ribbon-cutting!

Sarah Reed celebrated the grand opening of its new resident patio, a welcoming space for residents to relax, gather, and enjoy the outdoors.

Stephen Goodman, Forefront Facilities Director, was recognized for his role in the project, and the entire facilities team went above and beyond to get the building and patio spotless and ready for the big day. Forefront Culinary Director Tim Kern and his team set up a hand-dipped ice cream station and mocktails for residents and staff to enjoy.

Great work by everyone who helped make this event happen, from planning to celebration!

Clean floors aren't just about looks. They reduce fall risk, support infection control, and they're one of the first things families notice when they walk through our doors.

As part of Michigan Safety Week 2026, Forefront participated in MIOSHA’s (Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration) voluntary Take a Stand 2026 event, welcoming state safety professionals into our corporate office to help us take a closer look at our workplace, identify opportunities, and continue strengthening our practices.

Safety is one of our core values, and we believe it starts with holding ourselves to the same high standards we expect across every Forefront client locations and operations.

Fueling health, flavor, and connection at the corporate office!
We recently hosted a live wellness demo centered around July's FreshFocus theme: Appetites, Reducing Supplements through Natural Foods.

Our Registered Dietitian, Natalie Breault, RD, shared the science behind appetite changes and practical, evidence-based ways to make mealtimes more enjoyable:
• Boost flavor with herbs, spices, and sauces.
• Eat smaller, more frequent meals.
• Choose nutrient-dense foods rich in protein and healthy fats.
• Stay active and embrace the social side of dining.

Chefs Jose and DeLon then brought these concepts to life with a cooking demonstration showcasing how bold flavors and nourishing ingredients can create meals that are both healthy and satisfying.

The event reflected our Culinary Philosophy that food is more than a meal. It nourishes, connects, and inspires, helping create healthier foods and environments for Better Living.

Some of the best experiences around food happen before it’s ever cooked.

Recently, Chef Cody partnered with the Activities team at one of the communities we serve to host an Irish Soda Bread workshop. Residents rolled up their sleeves, mixed and shaped dough from scratch, and were excited to take their creations home to bake.

More than baking bread, it was an opportunity to spend time together, learn something new, and enjoy creating something by hand.

Moments like these are one of the many ways food helps create connection and support better living.

Every healthcare environment depends on people who show up each day with consistency, care, and attention to detail.

Natasha and Felecia, members of our Environmental Services team, were recently recognized with a Healthcare Hero Award after being nominated by the ICU team at one of the hospitals we serve. Their friendly smiles, dedication, and commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment made a lasting impression on the team they support.

Recognition like this reflects the important role Environmental Services plays in the patient experience and the strength of partnership between our associates and client partners. We are grateful for the impact Natasha and Felecia make every day.
