The best process improvements don't always start with a major initiative.

Sometimes they start with a team that's invested enough in the work to ask, "How can we do this better?"

That's what we saw in Lansing. Aaron Breitmeyer, Supervisor Kris Allen, and Delath Team Lead Ron Austin recognized an opportunity to improve the packaging process and got to work developing a solution together.

Projects like this aren't just about the finished result. They're a reflection of people who care about the work they do, look for opportunities to improve it, and take the initiative to make those improvements happen.

Biewer Sawmill - McBain's annual summer cookout is a chance for leadership to step behind the grill and say thank you to the team whose hard work helps keep our business moving every day.
It's a simple tradition, but one that reflects something important: we recognize that our success starts with the people who show up each day, support one another, and take pride in delivering quality for our customers.

As we look ahead to the second half of the year, we're grateful for everything our McBain team has accomplished and look forward to building on that momentum together.
