A tragic incident in Minnesota last week is an important reminder for everyone in our industry. A 26-year-old tree worker lost his life after horseplay involving a hydraulic grapple turned deadly.
We work with powerful equipment every day, and safety is something we take seriously. Grapples, skid steers, chippers and saws are incredible tools but one careless moment can have life-changing consequences.

A 34-year-old man is accused of playing shadow puppets with the grapple of a boom and crushing his coworker's head as they were trimming trees in Apple Valley, Minnesota, on Thursday evening.
