The session, organized with The Links, Inc. and NSBE, offered demonstrations and Q&A about the building industry. This hands-on learning opportunity gave KWAME employees and interns the chance to deepen their understanding of construction documents, improve technical knowledge, and gain real-world insight directly from an industry leader.

We’re proud to cultivate a culture where leadership is accessible, learning is encouraged, and growth never stops. The future of construction starts with education — and sessions like this are helping shape the future of both KWAME and the STL community.

The KWAME team had an incredible night at the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers “Show Me Awards” Gala earlier this month—bringing home some major wins!

We’re proud to have been recognized with both the Large Business Enterprise of the Year and Inclusive Business Excellence awards.

In addition, we were honored as finalists for Construction Manager of the Year and Outstanding Construction Project over $20 Million. A special shoutout to our own DeAna Carter, who was named a finalist for the Leadership Award!
