Tuesday, November 11th is a union holiday! Make sure you're getting that double time if you work it. (not applicable to all members of the Mid America Regional Council, check with your reps to see if taking the day off is best for you. Side affects may include sleeping in that day, reduced paycheck, and having time to do something for yourself for a change)

Next week, June 17th, Local 97 is having an election for 13 delegates and 1 trustee position. Polls are open to all members in good standing from 4:30-6:30 before the meeting at 7. Be in line prior to 6:30 to vote! See you there!

Due to the current inclement weather and predicted snowfall for the rest of the day, Local 97 is canceling our scheduled monthly meeting this evening, Feb 18. See you all next month!

The 2025 UBC General convention will be held August 18th - 21st. Any member that has been in good standing for the previous 12 months is eligible to run for convention delegate or alternate . Members must also be in good standing for the previous 12 months to nominate and vote in said election. A letter about nomination and elections will be forthcoming.
