For this mid-century modern feature, every piece of wood was hand-stained, individually measured, and cut to exact dimensions to create clean lines, consistent spacing, and a seamless finished look.

Want an open-concept dining and family room? Sometimes the wall has other plans. 👀

You can’t just knock down a load-bearing wall and hope for the best.

Before we open one up, we determine exactly what that wall is supporting. Then a structural engineer calculates the size and type of beam needed to safely carry that load.

Temporary supports are installed before the existing wall comes out.

Then comes the transformation:
🔨 Support the structure
🔨 Carefully remove the existing wall
🔨 Install the engineered beam and proper posts
🔨 Transfer the load down to adequate support below
🔨 Complete required inspections
🔨 Finish everything so you’d never know a wall was there

The finished result might look simple—but there’s a whole lot of planning and engineering hiding above that ceiling.

Open concept isn’t just about removing a wall. It’s about safely redirecting everything that wall was holding up.

That’s the difference between demolition and renovation done right.
