There's nothing like watching a lighting design come together after dark. Matt made the final touches at Chris and Holly’s gorgeous Town and Country home, and the results looked wonderful at night.

Phase 1 is officially in the books at The Estate Washington , and we already can't wait to get back out there. Watch the grounds come alive as the sun goes down; every path, tree line and structure getting that warm, layered glow that's going to define this property for years to come.

And this is just the beginning. Once the mansion windows are glowing, the pool house is lit up, and guests are walking these grounds during a weekend stay, this lighting is going to hit completely different. We're honored to play a role in building the foundation for what's about to be one of the premiere venues in the country.

Why are our lights pink this week? Dolly Parton.

Few people in this country have ever been loved by literally everyone, but Dolly pulled it off. A few reasons:

She's given away over 250 million books to kids through her Imagination Library.

She turned down a Presidential Medal of Freedom, twice, because she didn't feel she'd earned it yet.

When wildfires tore through her hometown, she paid displaced families $1,000 a month for six months out of her own pocket.

Rich, famous, and still just as humble as the day she left her mountain home. That's a legend worth honoring.

This Des Peres project started with a holiday lighting fix last year through our sister company, Santa's Elves STL. Fast forward to recently, and that same customer trusted us with a full landscape lighting system for their front and back yard.

OK Milo's Tavern, hear us out.

Permanent roofline lighting, Italian flag colors, glowing every single night of the year on one of the most recognizable buildings on The Hill St. Louis. We put together a couple renderings just because we couldn't stop thinking about it. Nobody asked us to. We just know a good idea when we see one. Call us.

We had wires get cut before. Didn't like it. So now anytime we cross a landscape bed, we run it through conduit first.

It costs us a few extra minutes on install. It saves you a phone call and a repair visit down the road.

That's just how we do things.
