When a tornado comes through, it doesn't leave much to work with. This homeowner lost the roof, siding, soffit, fascia, and gutters — basically the full exterior. We came in, documented everything for insurance, and got to work. New roof with upgraded ventilation — ridge vent added for proper airflow. Architectural shingles for better durability. Not sure if you need a repair or a full replacement? Here's a simple way to think about it — if the damage is isolated, a repair usually does the job just fine. But if your roof is 15+ years old and the damage is spread out, replacement tends to be the smarter long-term call. You end up spending less and getting more years out of it. Proper Roofing will always give you the honest answer. We don't push replacements when a repair will hold.

We came out to do a gutter repair and noticed something the homeowner didn't know about — hail damage on the roof. We mentioned it, showed them what we found, and they filed a claim. Then we knocked on the neighbor's door. Same damage, same storm. They filed too. Both claims went through and we replaced both roofs. That's just looking out for people. Insurance claims aren't always a quick turnaround — and sometimes you've gotta go the extra mile to make sure your customer gets what they deserve. On this one, the insurance company initially only approved part of the exterior. We did a thorough inspection, found more damage, documented everything, and went back to the adjuster. By the end, the full job was approved — roof, siding, gutters, fascia, window wraps. That's what advocating for your customer looks like.
