On a warm summer night in 2006, Todd and Jenny sat down with Malibu & Diet Coke and decided to fuse their passion for architecture, houses and people into a local business serving St. Kitchen & Bath installer bought Karr Bick Kitchen & Bath. Now they get to do everything from inspiration to installation of kitchen, bath and wherever spaces. Their goal was to grow a company that felt like family. T

hat meant creating a safe place that invited genuineness by nurturing strengths and acknowledging weaknesses. A place where talented people show up and create amazing things together. And on bad days, they have each others’ backs. On other days, someone slips out to be at her grandson’s classroom party. We all work a really hard, flexible schedule to keep “family first.”

The Karr Bick mission is to create customer-inspired spaces that no one wants to leave. Spaces for clients to engage more fully with the people and activities they love. To design for people not awards. The Karr Bick team, showroom, product selection, process, and resources all work to that end. Their clients feel that. They laugh a lot too. Mostly at themselves.

We challenged our interior designer, Jenny Rous, to style a stunning holiday party setup using just one store and a budget of under $50! In this video, Jenny shares some incredible budget-friendly tips, like using inexpensive ticking fabric and iron-on seam tape for a custom, no-sew tablecloth.

She also shows how to swap flimsy paper for $1 melamine plates, and how tying inexpensive red, white, and blue bandanas together makes the perfect festive banner. You don't even need to cook fancy food; Jenny proves that serving simple hot dogs on a $7 tray lined with a bandana completely elevates your food presentation!

In our St. Louis Office Remodel, we get a peek inside our designer's personal workspace, which heavily channels "Yellowstone" and Beth Dutton vibes. She believes that the genealogy of how you are built connects deeply to the style you naturally gravitate toward. By blending her Norwegian, Northern English, and Native American roots, she incorporated unique elements like animal skins, antlers, and classic English furniture. It proves that if you stay true to who you are as a human being, your unique style will always shine through.
