Did you know?

Recenlty, we have had many people ask us about the manometer that is part of their radon mitigation system. A common misconception is that it measures radon which it does not. Rather, the manometer measures the amount of pressure inside the pipe.

Although it doesn't measure radon, it DOES let you know whether your mitigation system fan is working.
Have a manometer in your home? Today is a great day to peek and yours and make sure the liquid levels are uneven. If yours looks like the meter on the left, give us a call.

What's your radon number? Homes that test higher than 4.0pCi/L should be mitigated. Exposure to high levels of radon have been proven to cause cancer.

Radon is measured in pCi/L. 4.0 pCi/L is the EPA recommended action level (equal to 100 chest x-rays) while 1.0 pCi/L is equal to 2.5 ci******es per day.

If you don't know your radon number, take action to have your home tested. Give us a call to get started at 636-200-2875.
