The 60 foot tall pine tree that fell from a storm would've caused significantly more damage to a newly built house. Fortunately for this family, their house was built in 1890; when lumber was double the size than it is today.. This house had 4x10 rafters, all lath and plaster walls inside. Still lots of damage inside and out- but nobody got hurt, and that's what is most important. Roof done in 3 days, only delayed by the rain on 2nd day at noon. Next comes siding and windows!

Nice project that came out great, the woodwork for the raised bar countertop looks awesome and the backsplash sets it off nice as well. Like the design.

What was once carpet, is now a floor with a lifetime warranty. Cant scratch this floor if you wanted to.
