We found a coil on a boiler that is only two years old leaking. It is extremely important to catch this before it becomes an issue and etches the cast iron, resulting in ruining the boiler. We are going there this week to replace that gasket and coil plate. Preventative maintenance is everything!

Our customer needed some grab bars installed and a new shower wand. We were happy to help! With the Moen line of grab bars they can support up to 500 pounds. We also love Moen's Magnetic shower wand, it has six different spray functions and is easier to reach compared to others.

When Cowan Family Plumbing & Heating installs a whole house filter, we always do it with a three valve bypass. That way if the filter leaks or you crack the globe by mistake you can always still get water to your house until repaired. Also, of course mounted to the concrete or a wall so it’s sturdy when changing the filter. Some people need conditioning systems, but everyone at least needs a cartridge filter to guarantee sediment, free water. We provide a complementary water test to every house we visit.  A customer had some inconsistent hot water. We did a simple test to find out if it was a coil or mixing valve and it was the coil. We replaced the coil for them and put in a new thermostat mixing valve. They love their hot water now. Another happy customer!
