One of the most common questions Stafford receives is what to do about tall grass. Tall grass is no joke and can pose a health hazard. Grass over 12 inches tall for an occupied residence (up to a 1/2 acre in size) must be cut. Grass over six inches for unoccupied or vacant property requires remediation. To report a property with overgrown and tall grass, please call Stafford's Zoning Dept. for assistance at (540) 658-8668.

Happy Friday! Sure, you’ve seen this property several times now, but the progression this summer has been beautiful!

Here at Rudy Landscaping we don’t just run grass over with a mower, we take care of it. For this lawn we went with a 4” cut using our twin mulching blades, at a cross hatched pattern. This combination allows for the lawn to absorb lost nutrients without taking a beating from drastic cuts in repeat patterns.

You can see great improvement as well by simply sending us a message to receive a free quote.

Finally, we have been getting alot of request for seeding. Unfortunately while possible, we do not seed in the summer due to the intense Virginia heat. Reach out to us now to get all your aeration, seeding, and fertilizer services booked for fall!
