Installation of a hot and cold hose bib out on the deck. This can be used with a Y connector hose to mix the water. Customer wanted this to be used for washing the dog. This was a good solution. All of this water piping connects into the kitchen cabinet. One of the exterior PEX line serves another hose bib that goes out to the driveway. I put in isolation valves underneath of the sink for each one of these. I also redid All of the shut offs for the dishwasher and faucet. Came out really good. Looks like a command center underneath of the sink now. This is a good solution if you want to be able to mix hot and cold water together or just have a hot water hose outside.

Had a customer that wanted to put in new shutoff valves for the house. These ones were ancient. A lot of times I cringe whenever I have to shut these type of valves off in a house. Sometimes when you turn them they will leak from the packing. We had to get a shutdown from the water company because we couldn't find the lid outside to shut the house down. Luckily they were able to come out quickly and find it. We ended up changing out both of the valves and putting in a pressure reducing valve. Everything came out good.

Had a customer that was complaining of a sulfur smell from the hot water. I figure we would remove the anode rod from the water heater and replace it. This lowboy unit actually contains two anode rods. So I went with the everbilt zinc anode rod and we purchased two of them and cut them to fit. We flushed out the water heater which had a lot of build up. Water is much better now. I use a impact gun and a 1 1/16 socket to get these anode rods out. The nice thing about the everbilt anode rod is it comes in a couple sections and you can actually Flex it in there into tight spaces.

I went over to a customer's house to find out why there was mold all on the ceiling down in the garage. I was inspecting for leaks in the bathroom above it. What I found out was someone had worked on this toilet and they installed the fill valve correctly. It was leaking for a long long time and did a lot of damage. The tenants of this place did not notice the water that was going all over the floor which is crazy. You can see in the one picture they put the gasket underneath of the toilet tank. The gasket actually goes in the toilet tank on the fill valve. This caused a big mess. Some of the jobs we do are definitely not rocking science but I always tell people it'll save you money in the end if you have a plumber do it especially if you're not comfortable with performing certain tasks. I was able to fix this up with a new fill valve and we got all of The Moldy ceiling out of the way so they can start to fix this thing up.

I removed a very old and broken Reverse Osmosis System from underneath the cabinet of one of my customers. They wanted something simpler. We went with a single stage cartridge filter system. I also changed out the shut-off valves underneath to a couple dual quarter turn valves. Job came out really nice. This setup was from Amazon and you can actually get it at Lowe's or Home Depot. The cartridge change outs are actually pretty inexpensive. Very nice system install overall. Highly recommended.

So I have been doing these inverter systems now for the sump pumps in case of a power outage. These work really great with the main pump to keep it running in case your power goes down. It can keep the main pump running for days. You also can parallel as many batteries as you like to have more of a battery storage. This inverter will also provide you power for small items in your house in case of a power outage. Very nice units that are Plug and Play. I typically order this one from Amazon and then I provide the battery and pump on my end. My customer here went with an m53 sump pump with the full inverter system. I think this one came out really nice we set the battery up on a block and mounted the inverter to the wall. You can always add this system to your existing pump fairly simple. Again it is a plug-and-play unit. Mounting the inverter is probably the hardest part. Give me a shout if you're looking to have some kind of backup for your sump pump. We can fit you in with one of these systems and you will be happy with it for sure

I had a customer that had a shower valve where the handle broke off of it. We couldn't identify what brand it was. I told them best bet was to just replace the shower valve. As you can see through the hole there we have back-to-back showers so the only access we had was through the tile. I ended up buying a Moen remodeling plate kit with the valve. This was a good solution for this issue here. The plate covers up any of the opening that we did to put in the new valve. I always tell people when you're doing rough-in valves for your shower or tub always pick a name brand. You'll never be able to find the stem or replacement parts if you buy off brand. I also see on all of these old ones where the spacing from the spout to the plate is so short. Luckily we were able to make this work. I personally like to put the rough in valves up higher. It looks better aesthetically and functionally works fine. This one came out good.

So with these older houses they've been through so many different hands and people doing work on them you never know what you're going to find. A lot of times I always find built up floors and shallow fl**ges. This time I hold this toilet up come to find out that they basically tiled around it. This was on a new toilet installation. The old fl**ge was crooked I had to chip it out and I put on a new fl**ge and was able to get a few screws in there. There was no wood underneath of the toilet fl**ge so this one was really challenging luckily the new toilet covered up this space. You just never know in a perfect world installing a toilet it's not rocket science but most of the time you could uncover a bad day instantly when you pull up a old toilet

Did another water heater here. So this one was sitting on the concrete with no pan and we put this one on blocks with the safety pan and ran the new safety drain over to the condensation pump. I have had a couple similar situations lately to this one. We always try to find a way to have a safety drain when we do a water heater installation. I had to rerun the sheet metal flu. The old one was rotten and rusted out. We reconfigured the top as always and added the expansion tank. I had to reconfigure the gas line it did not have a drip leg so we added one. All in all came out pretty good.

Another nice water heater install. We always have to reconfigure the water pipes above. We always get rid of the saddle valves if they are on either the hot or cold side of the water heater and add a quarter turn. We added the drip leg to the gas valve it did not have one before. We always add new ball valve isolation valves to our new water heaters. We always use aluminum safety pans. This is a 9-year unit. With our installs we also give you a three year full parts and labor warranty through my business. Give us a call today for all of your plumbing needs.
