Another nice water heater install. We always have to reconfigure the water pipes above. We always get rid of the saddle valves if they are on either the hot or cold side of the water heater and add a quarter turn. We added the drip leg to the gas valve it did not have one before. We always add new ball valve isolation valves to our new water heaters. We always use aluminum safety pans. This is a 9-year unit. One of my clients had a multi-unit property that they rent and they said the faucets were loose. I went over there and wanted to see if I could tighten them. They were some Amazon really cheaply built mounting system. I was able to get these Oswell series Glacier Bay kitchen faucets on sale. These are really nice they have a multifunction spray head and a very high-end feel to them for fraction of the price. Glacier Bay is actually a knock off Delta. They use the same stems and cartridges. The mounting systems on this Glacier Bay are actually very nice and simple. Definitely a good product for the money. We did these in three of the units and they all came out really nicely. You can see here the picture of the old faucet and how the threads on the mounting system were all stripped out and really bad. Job came out great

I replaced a state water heater that went bad after about 7 years. Been seeing a lot of trouble with these models right in this year range. Customer wanted to go with the 12-year AO Smith smart water heater. This model gives you 12 full years on this tank. The heater itself has a bunch of smart features with an app for your phone. It even came with a integrated water leak detection system and an integrated flood safe shut off valve. Seems pretty cool was a nice install. We put in new hot and cold isolation valves for the heater. I added the expansion tank that was not there on the initial installation. I always do my pipe connections with copper pipe right off of the water heater. The old install here has CPVC directly to the heater. Changed out the hose bib valves while we were here too. Job came out good

One of my customers had a power vent water heater that was leaking. We ended up going with an AO Smith short 50 gallon power vent. I recommended putting it up on blocks and running a safety drain over to the condensation pump since there is no floor drain in the area. I reconfigured the piping above and added the expansion tank with a couple new shut off valves for the cold and hot side isolation of the heater. We added the new quarter turn shut off valve for the humidifier. Every time I come across a water heater that has saddle valves we will always remove them and put on a quarter turn. The job came out really good and it is a nice safe setup now that will not flood the floor if it ever does leak.

I installed an m53 cast iron sump pump with a backup power inverter system. This system will run the main pump in case of a power outage. I highly recommend these they are Plug and Play. They are easy to install. This inverter system came from Amazon I've done a couple of these so far and they work really well. All you have to do is buy a marine battery extra with a case. Job came out good. Tested it out on both voltages and the pump works excellent. You can buy one of the inverter systems and just use it on your existing pump.

I had a customer with an expansion tank that was full of water. I didn't like how the piping was run on it. The expansion tank was put in a lot of pressure on the pipe. I also recommended putting a pan underneath of the water heater while we were at it. We installed the new hot water shut-off valve before the expansion tank. The way it was installed you had to shut the water off to the whole house to actually change it. We reconfigured the piping to fit and the installation came out real good.

This was a crazy drain assembly that I came across out in the wild. I have no idea how this thing did not leak but I recommended that they change it out. We put in a new Kohler push drain assembly and redid the P-trap with all PVC.

Some nice faucet change outs right here. The pop-up drains were in bad shape on the old faucets. I recommend getting some new faucet kits it's always better instead of just replacing the drain itself. These new kits come with the faucet and the drain assembly. These were a couple of Delta faucets. They came out real nice we always change out the water supply lines with every faucet. Job came out good.

One of my customers had a blown out hose bib line from the winter. I recommended changing out the loose hose bib and converting the line over to PEX piping. With the PEX piping we will get expansion and contraction if the line ever freezes up. I absolutely love these PEX hose bibs. They have a nice wide fl**ge they are basic and do the job. I added the Buddy plate on the outside because of the overdrilled hole. I see this a whole lot. This buddy plate is a great solution to actually secure the hose bib to the wall. I was able to help them put the drywall back and everything came out good.
