Here we are at 4 am writing a little about ourselves and family, and our family business. Since, many don’t know us, “but trust us one day you will” we are a young couple with 2 beautiful children, and our names are Ronal and Claudia and our children Jocksan and Natasha. And we own RONAL LIMA LANDSCAPING!
Before, anything I want to put this out since I think will give a better sense of our story, my husband Ronal, loves to fish, and his dream was to do Competitive Fishing. I love to sing, and I wanted to become someone famous. But you know both of our dreams have something, that God knew he didn’t want from our family, and that was spending so much time away from our children and each other. So, the story begins........
Just like many others we had been struggling financially, both my husband and I were always working full time and never got to spend time with our children, and to make it worse, never saw a dime. And, then Bam! through that time my husband’s job (at that time he was working for a landscaping company) wasn’t going to well. We were both going into a situation, where we didn’t even know what to do no more, we were practically almost in the street and in a tough, tough situation where not even money for food. But, since we are a very family, and religious, we didn’t have nothing to fall back on, but just Prayer.
My husband had a 1996 T100 truck, and one day the owner of where we were renting, knew my husband worked as a landscaper, and he told him that he had a friend who was looking for a landscaper to clean his yard and do some mowing, but that he did not have a lot of money to pay so much. Because my husband is a person with a good heart, and loves to help, he said he would do it for the very minimum pay. So, now my husband had to borrow a lawn mower, because he didn’t even had one, but this is where we started seeing God’s wonders, two days before doing the cleanup, we were in a point where we were really losing it, “Why?” let me tell you why, first, my husband was already losing two days of his work and he really couldn’t afford it, secondly, he didn’t have a lawn mower, third, we didn’t even have a penny to buy one, so I remember that day there was tears, and a person who thought he was a complete failure. But, that day all randomly he got a phone call from his brother in law, and told him he had an old, rusty small lawn mower, that he wanted to bet rid of, and with no doubt in mind, my Husband said, “I’ll take it”, and I remember how excited we were, Ill never forget that moment.
So we both went to go do the cleanup and cut the lawn, but little did we know, that more was going to come out from that day, but thanks to my husband’s hard work, dedication, and his quality of working, we had people watching our work, and when we finished the neighbors came out and told us how amazed they were of our work, and they wanted to hire us for year round landscaping for their property, and we just couldn’t believe it, but we just knew God was always with us, and this was God’s plan for us, we knew it was time for a change No Matter the Risks!
So we started working double as hard, to get more money so we could start investing in equipment, we started with the very minimal and worked ourselves up. Couple weeks later, the neighbor’s mom, wanted to hire us for year round landscaping, since she had seen our work in her daughter’s house and she was always so amazed with our work. And then from there more people started watching, we got recommendations, people would stop by in the street and ask for our number, and we were just so excited that we wanted more and more, so I started promoting online, and that is where we got even more clients, and then clients we got online started refering us. We were working so hard, that after we got home from a cleanup or grass cuts around 6:30 pm, then we went out to go give estimates, and wouldn’t return home till about 9 pm. But our hard work was finally paying off, we were starting to make enough to buy more equipment, new trucks, upgrading equipment, and we couldn’t be so much more thankful.
Today, 4 years later, we have a company well set up, looking for new clients every day as we know we still have a long way to get to where we want to be, we want to grow and provide a good future for our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and so forth. Which, we are both sure with God’s help we will be able to get there. We are so thankful for the many Blessings!
My husband and I support each other in everything, and we are one excellent team! My husband being a native Spanish Speaker and I English speaker but, I also do speak spanish, that never even brought us down either, because I was there to support him and him to support me.
So, this is us, I’m sure my story is not Perfect, but everything came out from the heart. We have been in business for 4 years but my husband has more than 12 yrs experience in landscaping. So please continue to support our business and if still haven’t please support it!
So just want to say, if you have God in your heart and you don’t give up no matter the circumstances, you will be successful in Life! When you feel like giving up, give your worries, and fears to God, he will put everything in place.
