It was inspiring to connect with many forward-thinking professionals, innovators, and enthusiasts dedicated to shaping the future of the padel ecosystem. Navigating the BSA process is famously one of the most challenging hurdles in NYC development. It requires meticulous attention to detail, deep technical expertise and a resilient approach to zoning and community standards. Our team has a long history of successfully guiding institutional projects through this intensive approval cycle and we are proud to add another high-impact school to our portfolio.

In June of 2021, PFA computer systems were hacked, and we were held of a ransom of $20,000. It was a horrible situation and a scam committed by strangers from another part of the world.

It is one thing to be hacked and extorted by criminals. But, to welcome in the New Year, PFA was approached by another group trying to extort money from us. Unbelievably, it was Autodesk, one of our biggest vendors we do business with.

We were told that one of our overseas consultants had a non-licensed version of AutoCad/Revit on their PC at the same time they were using our fully licensed versions of the programs and somehow in their ā€˜Terms of Agreementā€™ that one must agree to, in order to install the programs, we are somehow liable for what they do with their personal PCā€™s

To make a long disgusting story short, Autodesk initially demanded $27,000 and in the end demanded we buy more licenses to the tune of $10,000. Not quite the amount that the hackers demanded, but the same motive, EXTORTION. Shame on you Autodesk!

Perhaps if Autodesk plans to run these secretive scans, they could make the scanning software readily available to users as a respect.
