Latest completed project. Customer is building a new back deck with a roof covering it. Current electrical service to the house was coming in overhead and was not allowed to be under the roof of the future deck space. Relocated service to corner of home and put it underground from the utility. If you are looking at doing an outdoor entertainment space, patio or deck, and your current electrical service feeding your home is in the way. Give us a call 606-422-6537. This old service was legal at one point. However the SER cable doesn't withstand the elements and if you have a home with this style of service, you should consider upgrading it to conduit to better protect it and keep you and your family safe
Pictures were from yesterday, the high winds were causing wire to slap against the home, and once it failed, it almost caused fire. We were able to get the service repaired and rehooked in the same day so the homeowners were without power for less than 24hrs.
