Hacking and squirting ailanthus trees all day yesterday and today. If you have any of these invasive species on your property you should have an arborist assist in eradicating it. Unlike normal trees you just cut them down and they are done, this one will give you 30 to replace it. Also they are required for the life cycle of the spotted lantern fly and no one wants those!

Nick doing a little aerating before this much needed rain. We have been doing this and a lot of root feeding lately. Gotta keep these old trees healthy and around for the next generation!

All of this dirt is from the same tree. The tree was looking unhealthy so we used our air spade to aerate the ground, added compost, vertical mulched the compost into the poor soil, and root fed it out to the drip line. The tree should start to produce new root growth, be healthier, and have a beautiful canopy for a long time.

This is just a reminder that leaf season is fast approaching and we can only do so many big yards in a season. We have already committed to a few big yards around the holidays so you may want to schedule soon.
