🚨 Another airflow issue solved! 🚨
Today we’re replacing and upsizing a customer’s ductwork after diagnosing why their 8-month-old HVAC system kept shutting down on compressor overload.
The problem wasn’t the new equipment—it was the original ductwork. The existing ducts were too small for the new system, restricting airflow and causing the compressor to overheat and draw excessive amperage. Unfortunately, the ductwork should have been replaced when the new system was installed.
We’re installing properly sized ductwork so the system can move the amount of air it was designed for. That means:
✅ Proper airflow
✅ Lower operating temperatures
✅ Reduced amp draw
✅ Improved efficiency
✅ Better comfort throughout the home
✅ Longer equipment life
This is why properly sizing ductwork is just as important as choosing the right HVAC system. A high-efficiency unit can only perform as well as the duct system it’s connected to.
If your newer system is constantly shutting off, freezing up, or just isn’t cooling like it should, don’t assume the equipment is bad. The real problem could be hidden in your ductwork.
