Tabor Construction & Development, a Starkville based family-owned leader in land acquisition, commercial construction, and real estate development, is proud to announce that Powell Tabor has officially joined the company, starting the next chapter in the Tabor family legacy.
Established in 1989 by Larry S. Tabor, Tabor Construction & Development has successfully developed communities throughout Northern and Eastern Mississippi, including the areas of Starkville, Oxford and Tupelo. Over twenty years ago, Jeremy Tabor joined his dad and expanded the company’s general contracting portfolio as President and CEO. As the newest member of the Tabor team, Powell brings a fresh perspective while embracing the values and work ethic that have been passed down from his father and grandfather.
Powell Tabor received his B.B.A. in Finance from Mississippi State University and his M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from UMMC in 2023. With his strong foundation in client services, sales, and estimating, Powell’s efficiency and results-driven approach is seen daily both in the conference room and in the field.
