We are looking for a Landscape Designer / Estimator / Sales Associate
Location: State College/Bellefonte, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Based on experience + commission/bonus potential

Yonder Mountain Conservation is a landscape design-build and maintenance company rooted in sustainability and based in State College/Bellefonte, PA. We specialize in creating thoughtful, functional outdoor spaces using native plants, ecological design principles, and materials that support long-term land health. Our goal is to help clients create beautiful landscapes that thrive naturally and support the local ecosystem. We're looking for a well-rounded Landscape Designer/Estimator/Salesperson to join us—someone who can take a new lead and guide it all the way from first conversation to a completed project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Meet with new leads and turn them into happy clients
Create designs using PRO Landscape or similar software
Do site takeoffs and measurements
Read blueprints and construction plans
Write clear, detailed proposals and estimates
Stay in touch with clients throughout the process
Help with material orders and scheduling
Track job costs to help monitor profitability and production rates, and identify opportunities for improved efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Solid landscape design experience (degree or field experience both welcome)
Comfortable using design software (PRO Landscape is a plus)
Tech-savvy—you’re confident with computers, email, and project tools
Strong communication and sales skills
Able to handle site visits and field work as needed
Familiarity with plants, materials, and construction basics
Organized, proactive, and good at juggling multiple tasks
Someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and works well with a team
Experience estimating and managing landscape construction projects
