Statesboro Ward, Statesboro Elders Quorum ....
We have been asked to provide hurricane cleanup resources this weekend and next here in Statesboro and surrounding areas. We could really use you and anyone you can bring to assist. Ask friends, neighbors, or your long distance, 2nd cousin! More hands make lighter work.

We will meet at the church at 9 am both Saturday and Sunday this weekend and next. A small sacrament service will be conducted Sunday, then we will head out before those attending church at 10 arrive.
Temps should be ideal this weekend to work comfortably so please help out if you see you can. Only have a couple hours, that's fine, any amount of time will help the effort. We have over 250 work orders right here around Statesboro. Let's step up like we did for hurricane Matthew as this effort will be even bigger this time.

The City of Statesboro is opening a drinking water filling station for the public at the Public Utilities operations location (Hill Street at Mulberry Street) from 3pm-6pm today (Saturday) and daily from 8am-6pm as long as needed.

Citizens in need of water are asked to bring clean, sealable sanitary drinking containers from 1 gallon to 5 gallons in size to fill at no charge. Entrance to the site will be via the Mulberry Street gate from East Main Street. Traffic will exit the site onto Hill Street. City staff will be on-site to assist with water filling.

The City of Statesboro is pleased to be able to provide this vital service to our community in this unprecedented time of need.
