Every job site presents its own set of challenges. This one involved managing significant volumes of stormwater.

Our team helped deliver a perimeter channel solution designed for efficient stormwater conveyance and site performance.

From complex site conditions to unique project requirements, CCS brings more than installation expertise to the table. We bring a problem-solving mindset.

A little protection now can prevent a lot of rework later.

Geocomposites aren’t designed to sit exposed indefinitely. Depending on the project specifications, the textile component may have a limited UV exposure window, often around 30–45 days.

On this project, the contractor needed additional time before the composite could be covered with dirt. To help protect the material and avoid the possibility of having to remove and replace it, our crew installed raincover over the exposed geocomposite.

It’s one of those behind-the-scenes solutions that may not be glamorous, but it can make a big difference in protecting the installation, the schedule, and the project budget.

You name it, we can line it.

For this bridge abutment project in western Tennessee, geofoam backfill required an added layer of protection. Our team installed a flexible geomembrane over the geofoam, creating a durable barrier that helps protect against hydrocarbons while serving as a reliable v***r barrier to keep damaging water and moisture out.

No matter the application, we're committed to delivering solutions that protect infrastructure for the long haul.

Bioretention basins play an important role in protecting our environment, and we're proud to help build them.

Our crew is currently installing geomembrane liner in a bioretention basin, an engineered system designed to capture stormwater runoff from roads and parking lots before it reaches the groundwater. By combining specialized liner systems with carefully selected plants, mulch, and engineered soils, these basins help filter pollutants, manage runoff, and improve water quality.

Every installation is another step toward building infrastructure that protects our communities and natural resources.

What's beneath the surface matters just as much as what you see. Before the final lift of clay is placed, our crews install geogrid to stabilize the subgrade. This reinforcement helps improve the strength and stability of the foundation, setting the stage for long-term performance.

Every layer has a purpose and every detail matters.

A good weld takes skill. The right tools make it even better.

In this photo, our crew is using a Unidrive to leister a geotextile cap strip over a geocomposite panel to complete the seam. Compared to handheld leistering, the Unidrive helps create a more consistent weld by applying even heat and pressure throughout the process.

It’s a simple way to make a manual task more efficient and more consistent in the field.

Every site comes with its own challenges — and every project requires the right solution.

At this location, predominantly sandy soils made it difficult to source the low permeability clay required for landfill applications. Because the site was clay poor, the owner elected to incorporate a geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) into the system design to help achieve performance requirements.

It’s a great example of how geosynthetics can provide practical, dependable solutions when site conditions don’t cooperate.

Steep slopes require more than skill, they require preparation.

Before our crew began installing this geomembrane liner on a 1.6:1 slope, they completed training on slope fall protection systems designed specifically for steep-slope work.

Working on a slick incline means even one slip could turn into an uncontrolled slide. That’s why our team is tied into a vertical lifeline system anchored at the top of the slope. Using rope grab devices connected to their harnesses, crew members can move safely while staying protected. If a slip occurs, the system locks instantly to arrest the fall.

Behind every successful installation is planning, training, and a team committed to doing the job safely.

When the forecast calls for 5 days of rain, you have to move fast to protect the site. Here, the entire team is working in overdrive to get the subgrade ready ahead of deployment.

Thanks to an incredible collaborative effort, the contractor prepped 6 acres of subgrade, and our crew knocked it out of the park—installing the GCL and 60 mil HDPE just in time to protect the work.

You can't control the weather, but a great team with a solid plan can beat the clock every time. Proud of this crew for keeping the schedule moving!
