Looks like we have some cold weather coming the middle to end of week. Things to do to help prevent frozen pipes.
#1 Make sure all your vents and any holes in crawlspace are closed or blocked off.
#2 You can let your water run at a faucet; only small stream about the size of pencil lead.
#3 Open sink cabinet doors that are on outside wall.
#4 Disconnect all hoses from faucets.
#5 If you have a well make sure well cover is solid against the ground not letting cold air in. You can put a blanket or tarp over it. You can put dirt or mulch around the bottom to keep air out.
#6 You can put a light or some sort of heat source in the well house. CAUTION MAKE SURE THE HEAT SOURCE IS NOT CLOSE TO ANYTHING COMBUSTIBLE OR TOUCHING ANYTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE A FIRE!!!!!!!!
