Dawg Fans! It’s Game Day!!!

Our DAWGS take on the
Tigers? War Eagles? Whatever they are 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ today at home Between the Hedges!
Auburn may be having a mascot identity crisis and they can bring all of the mascots they want. Georgia’s got two words for all of them - GO DAWGS!!!
It’s the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, and Sanford Stadium is ready for another SEC SHOWDOWN! Our Dawgs lead this series 66-56-8 with a conference record of 47-41-4.
At Athens Fence Company, we’re proud to play a part in getting Sanford Stadium GAME DAY READY! From ticket gates and crowd-control panels to fencing, stadium improvements, and behind-the-scenes maintenance, our crews work hard to help keep the home of the DAWGS ready for Saturdays in Athens!
We spent all day yesterday and most of the evening at Sanford Stadium preparing for today’s game! We installed industrial aluminum panels in multiple areas around the stadium including Reed Alley and the 100 level section. We installed Gate 1 and Gate 9 across Gillis Bridge to assist with fan safety and stadium accessibility. Our panel installation for the Dawg Walk was completed on Thursday evening. Always a pleasure to work with our friends at UGA! Every day is a great day to cheer for our Dawgs!

🏗️ PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | IRVING TISSUE PLANT - MACON, GA. 🔨

Our Athens Fence Company crew recently installed two 8’ tall square aluminum-frame internal-track cantilever slide gates at the Irving Tissue Plant over in Macon, Georgia.
For high-traffic industrial facilities like Irving, strength starts below the surface! Our gates are built to seamlessly handle demanding daily use and the constant movement of heavy tractor-trailer traffic without missing a beat!
Every Athens Fence Company cantilever slide gate is installed with 16” diameter concrete footers, but we take the reinforcement a step further. We secure rebar through two areas at the bottom of our 4” posts, helping anchor the posts into the concrete and providing additional strength where it matters most! Cantilever gates of this size are heavy, and in an industrial environment with constant tractor-trailer traffic, impact damage is always a possibility. That’s why we build with durability in mind from the ground up.
At Athens Fence Company, we don’t just think about how a gate performs on installation day.
We think about what it may have to withstand for years to come. 💪

✅ Commercial & Industrial Fencing
✅ Heavy-Duty Gates & Access Solutions
✅ Built for demanding environments

SEC STRONG. BULLDOG TOUGH.
