Important:

Effective as this past monday, I Joe Hayes(owner), has made the ultimate decision to close business. It wasnt a decison I made lightly. Many moving pieces were involved. I will still do SOME side work for my loyal customers this year. I want to thank you for many many years of continued business. I have not ventured far away from digging in dirt. I have moved onto a bigger and better less stressful opportunity as a heavy equipment operator. Till next time folks!

Today we lost our most valuable employee. With tears running down my eyes and no words to say. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my broken heart. Jack is off to heaven. Thank you buddy for the 15+ years. I’ll never ever ever forget them. I love you so so so much. Tell Ringo and Harley I love them, too.

It wasn’t too long ago we received the news my sister was diagnosed with the demon we call breast cancer. Honestly didn’t know the possible severity it could cause. I thought to myself, why my sister? Why my 32 year old sister? There is no answer to that, unfortunately. She’s been one tough son of a gun I’ll tell you! As most of you know, she just gave birth in July of 2021. So of course she’s had her hands full with her and to add this to the mix really proves her strength. Today we found out she’s cancer free after her mastectomy she had performed right before Christmas. Her battle isn’t over, not yet at least. Ive been working on this project for the past 3 weeks. I was trying to find a different way to show my support for her besides doing the obvious phone calls, texts, flowers, and etc. We all love you Tara and will always support you through this wild journey of yours. You’re a true inspiration to many others that are going through what you’re going through 💕.

Amongst the many many hiccups with our machines still at the dealer for maintenance, we had to travel to Ohio to get another machine to make sure the season kept rolling. Okay, let’s get this season rolling. Sorry for the delay but call us to schedule. Sorry for the hiccups. We are in full swing.

Definitely not what we are use to but here we are bidding on a 75+/- modular home subdivision for an irrigation install. Definitely out of our realm but we don’t turn down opportunities.

In these crazy times, good help is hard to find. I found the best helper anyone could ask. Meet jack, my first and only employee. Many help wanted ad’s and no one would bite but Jack and I kept trucking along.

Jack came into my life randomly in 2008. It was when I first moved into my small and tidy condo in Sterling Heights. I never owned a dog so he is my first one. When he came along it was about 2 months before the HOA of my condo association said you can’t have a dog more than 25 lbs. I said eh, okay no worries Jack will stay here. I told myself I’m not letting go of this guy, let’s just find a house.

It took many years of researching but we finally found a home in 2013 and I said, “Jack, we finally got a home with a backyard bubba(nickname)”. The move was GREAT! Unfortunately because of the HOA we lived in I had to pay $2,500 in over weight dog fees so they can sell the condo🤣. So we have been here since 2013 and we have been very happy.

Fast forward to this week. We rook a very short trip to Ohio to explore Hocking Hills OH. I felt like this might be one of his last trips so it was so worth it!

Well, we are back and his health has severely declined. We(Madalyn and I), took him to the ER. We waited an hour to get the results from his scan. Jack, unfortunately has a baseball sized tumor right next to his spleen which is slowly bleeding internally. Doctor said well, if you are very lucky he can see you for the next 30 days. So we are going to hopefully have the best time of our lives with Jack while he’s still around.

We apologize for being slightly behind with the unfortunate news we received today.

Thank you for your understanding 🙏🏻🙏🏻.

Awesome wrap up to this install!

Just a heads up. This Wednesday’s real feel will be over 100 degrees. Very limited work will be performed that day. Anything over 100 degrees all employees will be pulled off the sites. So this week will be slightly delayed. Employees health is more important. Thank you for understanding!
