In these crazy times, good help is hard to find. I found the best helper anyone could ask. Meet jack, my first and only employee. Many help wanted ad’s and no one would bite but Jack and I kept trucking along.
Jack came into my life randomly in 2008. It was when I first moved into my small and tidy condo in Sterling Heights. I never owned a dog so he is my first one. When he came along it was about 2 months before the HOA of my condo association said you can’t have a dog more than 25 lbs. I said eh, okay no worries Jack will stay here. I told myself I’m not letting go of this guy, let’s just find a house.
It took many years of researching but we finally found a home in 2013 and I said, “Jack, we finally got a home with a backyard bubba(nickname)”. The move was GREAT! Unfortunately because of the HOA we lived in I had to pay $2,500 in over weight dog fees so they can sell the condo🤣. So we have been here since 2013 and we have been very happy.
Fast forward to this week. We rook a very short trip to Ohio to explore Hocking Hills OH. I felt like this might be one of his last trips so it was so worth it!
Well, we are back and his health has severely declined. We(Madalyn and I), took him to the ER. We waited an hour to get the results from his scan. Jack, unfortunately has a baseball sized tumor right next to his spleen which is slowly bleeding internally. Doctor said well, if you are very lucky he can see you for the next 30 days. So we are going to hopefully have the best time of our lives with Jack while he’s still around.
We apologize for being slightly behind with the unfortunate news we received today.
Thank you for your understanding 🙏🏻🙏🏻.
