He recently advised roof replacement on my home and I appreciated his assessment. Kevin James was the project manager and he was professional and overall excellent to work with. Jose was the team leader who was directly involved with the job from start to finish in one day, including a thorough cleanup of the property. The Shiner roofing consult found the issue immediately and the repair has held up even with our recent torrential rains. We are thrilled. Price seemed reasonable too."

Great review from Ken... "We hired Shiner based on their long standing reputation doing high quality work and customer service in the NOVA area for decades. When the last series of winter and spring storms damaged the roof, Shiner was our only call. Tyler Wilbanks was patient, professional and super knowledgeable on the front end with selling the company, the product and craftsmanship. The company Shiner uses to work with your insurance company for the claim made the process seamless and stess free through to a successful payout. The installers were amazingly efficient, quick and skilled to include finishing the job on a large home in one day to weathertight standard with threatening storms the following day. Project Manager Chris Rivas was an outstanding professional and came the day of the job and the following day to ensure that everything was completed according to specs and contract. He communicated with the crews to make adjustments, final detail finishes and cleanup resulting in a PERFECT job! It is amazing and a great feeling to have such reliable professionals like Chris and the whole team in an era of otherwise fly by night 'contractors' and charlatans. If you dont hire these guys, you will regret it!"

Great review from John... "I have been a Shiner customer for over 25 years and can recommend them without reservation. They installed a roof for me in 2000, repaired some "old age" defects on that roof for me in 2024, and installed a new roof and skylights for me in June 2026. On all of these jobs, they did top-flight work. And they stand behind that work. Their personnel are first class. The estimator who helped me in 2024 and 2026 was outstanding; he was pleasant, thorough, and straightforward about my options and the costs involved. The crew supervisor for the installation of my new roof in 2026 was on top of things and communicated well about the work as it progressed. When a minor problem with a skylight emerged a couple of weeks after installation, he diagnosed the cause and had his crew rectify it. That problem resulted to some minor drywall damage inside my house, but Shiner reimbursed me for the repair work, no questions asked. The bottom line for me is that Shiner Exteriors is a well run business that does fine work and will be there over the years to assist if any problems develop. Trust me, I know. I've "lived it." You can't go wrong with this company."
