There is a difference. A post frame should be built with the correct nails. If your engineer signs off using a nail from a standard framing nailer, you’re lucky, our buildings are engineered with 20d and 30d nails and you can see the difference. BECK America jumbo nailer is King and a blessing for us.

Why does the last Titen HD anchor bolt go in so much easier? Two Tapcon (U.S.) to anchor the bracket in place and then two Simpson Strong-Tie Titens to finish it up.

Day 2 update on the biggest Barndo! Stay tuned, by end of day 3 we should have most, if not all the walls up to start installing trusses!

Always getting asked why do we cut our brackets in half. Corners and Jambs! They don’t get a full bracket so why buy a universal corner/jamb bracket and worry about stocking or needing a different sku when I can buy standard brackets and get two corner or jamb brackets? Plus this Milwaukee Tool metal saw absolutely eats thru the 1/4” steel and keeps me safe from all metal shavings.

Impressive engineering! A dual welded jigsaw blade with a tapered back means effortless and tight 90 degree turns basically. Hard to explain until you feel it for yourself. Mafell USA thinks this stuff out for sure. Go play around with all their tools at Atlas Tools & Machinery

It’s been about 3 years since I’ve done this… maybe even longer! The workers in the KEEN Utility factory make this process look so dang easy too! I however did not do a great job, but a good enough job lol.

Always wanted to use some Mafell USA but honestly have never seen it. Finally got to check out the awesomeness at Atlas Tools & Machinery and it did not disappoint. This KSS line has whatever you need.

Older I get, the more life for me is about making memories and gathering experiences with those closest to me. Thanks to Lectric eBikes for hooking me up with an electric trike for my mother! Without it there was no way she was going to be able to experience this trip with my dad and my wife and I. We ended up biking the last weekend where we covered almost 28 miles and enjoyed a gorgeous fall day. If you get the opportunity to check it out. It’s a gorgeous area and highly recommended. Thanks Lectric for helping me collect more memories.
