Well...it's going to be ridiculously hot this weekend, which makes turning on the oven sound like a questionable life choice. 😂

But it's also been way too long since I've baked, and I've been missing it.

So...I'm thinking one small pre-order/porch hutch this Sunday! 🤍

If there's enough interest, I'll put together a menu tomorrow with a few favorites like:
🍞 Artisan Bread
🧄 Rosemary Garlic Bread
🌶️ Jalapeño Cheddar Bread
🍪 Cookies - Oatmeal cream pie!?

This weekend was a reminder that some of the best moments are the simplest ones. ☕🔥

Slow mornings by the fire. Coffee before the rest of the world wakes up. Dirt on your feet. Kids exploring. Conversations without distractions.

We spend so much time rushing from one thing to the next that we forget how good it feels to just be present.

Perfect weather, good company, and SO much creativity 🌿☀️

Today’s plant event at Jacam was one for the books! Everyone brought their own style to the table, and it was so fun watching each planter come to life. From bold and colorful to simple and earthy, no two creations were alike — and that’s what made it special.

Thank you to everyone who came out, got your hands dirty, and spent the afternoon creating with us. And a HUGE thank you to Jacam for supporting my small, local business!

Well… turns out my favorite pothos and direct sunlight at Sterling Market Day were not a match made in heaven 😅🌞🌿
She got a little crispy. I got a little humbled.
Friendly reminder that just because I run a plant-based business does NOT mean I have some magical plant-whispering powers. I’m in this for the grounding, the quiet moments, and the stress relief… not perfection.
If you’ve ever side-eyed your plant and thought, “I might be failing you,” same. You win some, you lose some, and sometimes you apologize to a leaf or two along the way.
But we keep trying. We water (eventually). We move them out of the sun (a little too late). We learn.
So if you’re worried you’re “bad with plants,” you’re actually just… normal.

The porch Hutch is getting a fresh little stock in the morning! If you missed out at Market Day today, this is your chance to grab some homemade goodies without the crowd.

We’ve got a limited amount available—just enough to share the love one more time—so it’ll be first come, first served.

A quick heads up as we head into summer: I won’t be baking every weekend, but I *will* be doing a porch Hutch stock about once a month. I’ll always post ahead of time here on Facebook, so keep an eye on my page so you don’t miss out!
