A large capital improvement project on the Waupaca County Courthouse. New offices in the basement require an emergency egress, so remove 200 yards of dirt along the west basement wall, install windows and add 2” styrofoam insulation and make it look nice. We had all the flashing bent to order, cut grooves in the concrete to insert the flashing then tuck-point in place. Head and base flashings for the windows, mechanical fasteners (tapcons) to fasten the foam in place. Hot knife 2” grooves for decorative reveals, mesh and plaster. This will get a 10’ retaining wall and fence to complete. End of phase one. Phase 2 will be the east side of the building in 6 months, same process but hopefully without the 9” of rain we dealt with trying to get this completed.
