Installed a custom transfer switch for a generator feed to a well pump. It came with a custom 25' cord to connect to the generator. Now the family can at least use their water when the power goes down.

Aluminum wiring was used in some homes from the mid 1960's to the early 1970's due to the increased price of copper. Over time aluminum wiring has been shown to cause electrical problems such as overheated connection resulting from improper installation. We suggest that, if you're considering purchasing a home with aluminum wiring, or currently live in an older home, that you hire a licensed electrician or inspector to check over the wiring for possible electrical problems.
