Proud to share the before‑and‑after of our latest project at Rock Hall Landing Marina. ✨
Dissen & Juhn Company replaced the full floating dock system, giving the marina a fresh start for the season.

Huge thanks to our project partners—Seal Landscaping, Cahill Electric & Plumbing, Bob Sipe and crew, and Meeco Sullivan—for their exceptional teamwork.

Congrats to Rock Hall Landing on opening May 1st, and to Tim and Lisa for investing in the marina’s future.

Work is well underway as Dissen & Juhn continues Phase One at Safe Harbor Oxford, getting things ready for the 2026 boating season! ⚓️

Our team has officially completed construction of the new travel lift, and we’ve fully replaced the surrounding bulkhead—strengthening the waterfront and setting the stage for safe, efficient marina operations.

This is just the beginning of a three-phase project, with dredging, additional bulkhead construction, and dock replacement still to come.

Proud of the progress so far—more to come as we keep moving this exciting waterfront project forward!

🚧 Project Complete at Rogues Harbor! 🌊

Dissen & Juhn Company has successfully completed the Rogues Harbor Breakwaters at Elk Neck State Park, MD for the Maryland Department of General Services. Delivered over six months (Oct 2025 – Mar 2026), this project strengthens one of the region’s most heavily used boat launch facilities.

⚓ Highlights:
• 597 LF of timber breakwater flanking the boat ramp
• 60’ opening for safe access to the Elk River
• 295 LF of armor stone to reduce wave energy
• Marsh plantings, phragmites eradication & an osprey nest

🌬️ Designed to protect against ship wakes, debris, ice, and harsh wave conditions, the new breakwaters improve safety for boaters while preserving the surrounding environment.

🛠️ Built using a panelized wave screen system and over 400 timber piles, ensuring durability and precision in challenging marine conditions.

Proud to deliver resilient, high-performance marine infrastructure for Maryland’s waterways.

Demolition of the docks complete and pile extraction to begin soon. Amazing progress!

🚧 Dock demolition is complete; we’re thrilled to announce that the transformation has begun. The Cahill Electric crew removed all of the electrical components, while Billy and his team removed the existing docks and fingers. Big changes are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share the progress with you.

This upgrade brings fresh energy to one of the Eastern Shore’s most beloved marinas — and marks the beginning phase of the marina’s larger renovation project!
