That time of year... kids going back to school means fall/ winter is just around the corner. Historically we get extremely busy from now until about march next year. It's looking like another busy season for us as the phone has not stopped ringing the last few weeks... and we're still dealing with this fire claim and we are still not in our home. We have to move again end of October (6 times since last April)...We may be limited with internet/ phone services the next few months as we continue to navigate/ move to other houses while the nonsense with this fire claim and the litigation that comes with it continues through the busy season. We will continue to push through as always and the service/repairs and annual sweep/inspections will continue to be top quality with premium service... communication may be delayed so thank you again for your patience!

Thank you all for your patience the last month or so as we have been dealing with multiple issues out of our control. Weather is also becoming a factor and we are in catch-up mode.
We are still without our home and office due to the house fire, however, we have temporary housing and spotty internet to weather us through until this situation passes. Now we just found out our computer crashed and we will need to replace it... that's gonna take time!
It will all work out in the end!

Our owner Jim Clark retired after nearly 15 years with J&L and is enjoying a lot warmer weather than us in Alabama! My son, Vincent is stepping up and learning the trade! He'll be seeing a lot of you soon!
Happy retirement Jim! You'll be missed and Vinny has some big shoes to fill! He's learned a lot from you and I'm excited for the next chapter of J&L!

Another Ahren Fireplace installation. Turned this old fireplace into a Forever Warranted open burn system with new smoke chamber, pre-insulated forever warranted stainless steel liner system, new black doors, and custom black outside mount cap.
