We had the absolute pleasure of designing a custom build-out, seamlessly combining two separate condominiums into one cohesive home. Bringing this expansive layout to life within ELEVEN—an iconic addition to Minneapolis’ historic Mill District—was an incredibly unique and rewarding opportunity.

This isn’t happenstance!

We treat windows as living canvases by carefully balancing scale, light orientation, and focal points to make the outdoors a central part of the interior design.

This design transforms a traditional farmhouse into a modern gathering space by balancing historic charm with light-filled additions. Key updates include a “Living Loft” garage addition for guests and a high-volume kitchen extension featuring extensive windows, a large island, a walk-in pantry, and a powder room. This expansion also allowed for enhancements to the primary suite, including a larger bedroom, bath, and dual walk-in closets.

A quintessential wraparound porch ties the new and existing structures together, facilitating seamless indoor-outdoor living. This layout honors the original character while providing the modern, open-concept functionality required for hosting large family gatherings.

Riverview Modern: Concept A

This modern double-gable river home is a masterclass in blending in while standing out. This home is designed to bridge the gap between structure and nature.

The exterior metal roofing combines beautifully with warm, beveled wood siding and Kasota Limestone creating a textured, durable facade that mirrors the tranquil surroundings.

Inside, the open-concept floor plan celebrates high, vaulted ceilings and wall-to-wall windows that frame the river views perfectly. It’s the ultimate, serene retreat where rustic charm meets modern minimalism.
