Before cell phones. Before websites. Before Facebook… there was Oakley Fence Company.

We came across these old photos from the early days of Oakley Fence, and they’re a pretty special reminder of where this company started.

That old sign reads:

OAKLEY FENCE CO. — FR2-6542 — STILLWATER

A lot has changed since then. The trucks are different. The equipment is better. The fences have changed. And you definitely don’t call us with an FR2 phone number anymore!

But one thing hasn’t changed:

We still build fence. And we still believe in doing the job right.

Sometimes a fence can become part of the architecture of the home.

This custom cedar project is a perfect example.

Instead of a standard privacy fence, these sections were built between brick columns with a custom X-brace design, creating privacy while adding character to the entire backyard.

This is the kind of project where the details matter—the layout, symmetry, woodwork, and how everything ties into the existing home.
