REMEMBER THAT DAY

Remember that day
the day people died
the day people cried
as tears filled their eyes
remember the lives lost
as the two towers fell to the ground
wihile dark smoke consumed the sky
panicked hearts racing all around
remember the people who survived
to tell this awful horrifying day
remember the millions of helping hands
coming to rescue near and far away
remember the tears and the fears
innocence was lost on that tragic day
yet remember the blessed hope of all
that day when America got on their knees to pray
