Behold, the perfumes and luscious blooms of late summer! As other flowers fade from heat and drought, tuberose are flowering in abundance at EmBloom Flower Farm under the care of our skilled horticultural team.

This exquisitely fragrant flower, native to Mexico, is a unique accent in floral arrangements. It is also used in aromatherapy to promote relaxation!

A study in lines, angles and light...The seating area at the home of this Hertzog Fine Gardening client beckons for hot weather relaxation. Flower kisses coming through the frost cloth! In our area, May 15 is the catch-all date for plants and flowers to be safe from potential frost. Until then, we always protect our plants overnight with a lightweight, woven fabric that allows air and sunshine to flow through, but is thick enough to help retain warmth from the soil and prevent harmful ice crystals from forming. The blooms pressing against the cloth resemble a beautiful Monet painting, with the promise of showy saturated color when fully revealed!
