! This corner has been keeping appointments for a century.
In 1925, the streetcar stopped here to carry passengers between the Village and Atlanta. In 1958, folks ducked under Brannan’s awning for groceries, hardware, and a Coca-Cola. Today, the same granite corner welcomes guests up to two boutique suites, Dawn and Dusk, where the Village’s story continues one stay at a time.
Different century, same corner, still worth the stop.
If you remember Brannan’s, or the stories your family tells about this block, we’d love to hear them below. 🚋
Historic photos shared with us over the years. If you know more about their origins, we’d love to credit them properly. 💫
