This we are looking back at VM Turbo’s expansion completed in 2015. The expansion began with a staircase that connected the new 7th floor with their 8th floor offices. The 7th floor was also connected to a roof deck with fantastic views of downtown! The 8th floor was designed to open up to ample space for office furniture, areas for activities, a boardroom, large pantry area and a raised platform to host presentations. Lake Contracting recently completed a project with Valo Health. The project was approximately 17,100 SF that included new Huddle Rooms, Offices, Conference Rooms, a variety of Lounge Areas, Pantry area, and so much more.

LCI was selected to partner with Valo, the building owner Equity Office and the amazing team from Dyer Brown Architects and WB Engineer. There are many unique features in this space. The open ceilings and exposed MEP’s are painted a dark grey with some amazing ceiling features consisting of Turf Swell and Turf Torrent Baffle ceilings, the custom MDF accent walls located in the pantry area which divides the space while maintaining a sense of an open floor plan, and a Modernfold Acousti-Clear automatic front wall - just to name a few!
