We recently completed a 47' x 52' pole barn pad, starting with the removal of several small pine trees and stripping all topsoil from the work area. RC6 stone was then brought in to build the pad. Due to the significant grade change on site the project required compaction lifts throughout the process to achieve the final finished grade. Once complete we regraded the surrounding area with topsoil to promote healthy grass growth and stabilization.

On this job we were called in to remove a old section of artificial turf and wood boarder, after removing the debris we then regraded the area to make it a nice mow able slope and added in nice clean top soil to help the grass grow. Then we finished it off with grass seed and straw to stabilize the affected area.

Looking to expand your storage space and get a shed or put a building on your property and need a nice level pad with a proper base. On this job we cut out for a shed the customer was having delivered with the sloped property there was no existing level areas to put it, we cut the fill out and spread it around a row of up rooted tree roots and then put down fabric to keep the dirt and stone separated and put a 4” base of 57 stone down for Pennsylvanias shed requirements. The customer then was going to add a wooden retaining wall around the sides to keep the dirt from falling into his new shed.

Do you have a failing retaining wall, do you have have water issues where you shouldnt look no further we can help. On this job the customer had a failing wooden retaining wall causing water issues from incorrect drainage and bad structural support for their over hang. We came in and removed the old wall debris and rebuilt better with wall block and plenty of of stone drainage and and piping behind the wall. We also reused the customers sump pump and made a sump pit with river rounds around it as a dry stream bed. Then once the wall was complete we regraded the yard and made sure the water was going to stay away from the house. On this job the customer had a new garage put in and wanted a nice set of stairs built from the house to the new building.
