Looking for a part time helper/apprentice. Must have knowledge of hand tools,saws, drills, etc. Be able to lift 50lbs. Be able to work In the mornings to afternoon.
Must have dependable transportation. Pay based on knowledge and experience.

Repair of some pretty big fire hazards. Previous owners had a detached building which someone actually stripped the wire from the meter, before the 200 amp breaker, bolted it to the wire and tapped it up. 75 ft of wire had no protection from a circuit breaker. Replaced everything to all new with 200 amp bolt on kit to protect the wire. This was a first for me. Pretty sketchy to say the least. Not counting the snake skins and one black snake that went down in the block behind the panel. Fun times on this one

This was caused by not tamping the backfill on the underground. It took several years for this to happen, but the pulling pressure of the slowing packing dirt over time and the screws into the house gave up, the panel knockouts gave way and created pretty hairy situation. Actually cracked the main service lug on AEPs side. If you look close that secondary wire is maybe a 1/8 inch from the metal. This is one time that the insurance they send us in the mail was actually needed. Permit, new panel, coordinated effort with AEP and inspection dept and power back on in 2 1/2 hrs.

Been on this project for couple weeks. Everything ran in white emt conduit for a nice clean look. 2 lighting contactors for better control at exit doors. All LED lights interior and exterior for egress. This job turned out Great!
