When we first met Mike, we instantly knew there was something special about him. He came to us looking for work, and we gave him an opportunity. During his time with Coleman Lawn & Tree Service, we did our best to help and encourage him through some very difficult seasons in life.

Mike struggled with addiction, but one thing we can say is that he never stopped trying. He kept showing up and working even when life became overwhelming. Eventually, out of love and concern, we contacted his mom, and she came to get him so he could begin a new chapter.

Today, we received an update that truly touched our hearts — Mike is now over a year sober, has a beautiful new baby, is living in Tennessee, and doing well. 🙏❤️

These are the kinds of stories that remind us why kindness, compassion, and giving people a chance matters. Sometimes people don’t just need a paycheck… they need someone to believe in them.
