Unfortunately, we’ve received another report from someone who called what they believed was our number, only to have someone show up in an unmarked truck and charge them $3,000 for a garage door repair.

PLEASE KNOW: THIS WAS NOT STURGIS OVERHEAD DOOR!

We want to make sure our customers and community know how to protect themselves from these scammers.

🚫 We do NOT send service technicians in unmarked trucks. The only exception is when Jamie, our owner, arrives in an unmarked vehicle to provide an estimate, and estimates are always FREE.

⚠️ These scammers may use phone numbers and paperwork that look legitimate, making it difficult to know who you’re actually dealing with.

🚔 If you believe you’ve been scammed, contact your bank and local police as soon as possible.
